Student-Ready Strategies (SRS) was named as a grantee in a recent funding announcement
by Strong Start to Finish (SSTF) as part of an ongoing initiative aimed at accelerating the developmental education reform movement. The grant awarded to SRS will support a policy project aimed at identifying the distribution of gateway math and English courses.
In addition to several other partner-led research, practice, and policy projects, SSTF also announced 7 new Strategy Sites which will receive targeted technical and strategic assistance to support efforts to implement developmental education reform at a scale. The total $5.3 million awarded, which will also be used to address emergent challenges in initial Scaling Sites, represents a pooled investment from SSTF’s funders, Ascendium Education Group, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and The Kresge Foundation.
